This website is operated by Hydra Int. Limited (we/us/our). As a user (you/your) of this website, you acknowledge that any use of this website including any transactions you make is subject to our terms and conditions outlined below. Please read through these terms and conditions thoroughly before using this website. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.

1. Data Protection

1.1 Any and all data obtained by us through your usage of this website will be held in absolute confidence in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and will not be shared with any third-party or affiliate under any circumstances.

1.2 All information that you provide must be accurate and complete. Any passwords entered by you are exclusive to your account and must be treated as strictly confidential.

1.3 Password and account facilities may be altered and withdrawn at our discretion.

1.4 You must treat your account as strictly confidential and subject to usage by the account holder (you) only. Under no circumstances must you allow anyone other than you to access your account.

1.5 We reserve the right at our discretion to cancel your account facilities at any time.

1.6 We will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details you provide secure but, unless we are negligent, we accept no responsibility or liability for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to information provided by you.

1.7 We will not store on file any credit or debit card information under any circumstances.

2. Purchases

2.1 Any and all purchases made at our website are subject to our terms and conditions.

2.2 Product images are for illustrative purposes only and may differ from the actual product.

2.3 Purchases on our website may be initialised by clicking “add to cart” on each individual item page.

2.4 By confirming your purchase after reviewing your shopping cart your order will be subject to acceptance by us at all times.

2.5 Acceptance of your order and the completion of your contract with us will occur upon despatch of your item from our business outlet. We reserve the right not to accept your order at our discretion.

2.6 Any mistake or cancellation by you of your order must be notified to us prior to despatch to avoid any additional costs of return.

2.7 Confirmation of your website order will be sent via email to your registered email address provided.

2.8 If your item is not in stock, we will contact you to see if you want your order to be placed on back-order or cancelled and refunded.

2.9 Any and all order shortages or mistakes must be notified to us within 7 working days under all circumstances.

3. Value Added Tax (VAT)

3.1 Value Added Tax is applied to all applicable website sale items subject to VAT regulations.

3.2 VAT will be applied at the current rate of 20% for all sales to countries in the European Union, export sales outside of the E.U. are zero VAT rated.

3.3 All listings on our website are displayed with prices inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.

3.4 Hydra International Limited is registered for VAT, registration number GB-581-4875-09.

4. Payment

4.1 The price you pay is the price displayed on this website at the time we receive your order.

4.2 In the unlikely event that we cannot supply goods for whatever reason, you will be informed of this as soon as possible and a full refund will apply if you have already paid for the goods.

4.3  Terms and conditions for payments made by “PayPal” can be found on their website. Hydra International Limited is not responsible for the content of external websites however linked.

4.4 All credit/debit card transactions are accepted at our discretion and accepted under strict confidentiality.

4.5 We accept the following methods of payment: Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, or Payment directly into our bank account.

4.6 If you do not wish to pay online, credit card payment information may be given over the telephone.

4.7  All transactions may be subject to checks by a registered Credit Reference Agency prior to acceptance. Any checks will only be done to confirm your identity and will not affect your credit rating under any circumstances. All information provided by you will be treated in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

4.8 Credit Card Security - When the order is placed on our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128-bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our payment gateways servers. We do not see your pin number.

4.9 We take full payment using your selected payment method at the time of sale. We do not under any circumstances accept part payments and are under no obligations to reserve stock for any period due to failed payment.

4.10 All prices are quoted in £ Pound Sterling and include VAT where applicable unless stated otherwise. VAT receipts are available separately upon request and subject to processing times.

5. Delivery

5.1 We will only ship to delivery destinations as outlined upon checkout.

5.2 All item prices on our website are inclusive of UK mainland postage unless otherwise stated.

5.3 All UK Mainland orders qualify for free delivery apart from exception see 5.5 below.

5.4 All standard UK mainland orders are sent out using either a parcel courier, pallet delivery service (next working day), or Royal Mail (24hr tracked). The shipping method is depending on order size. Exceptions to this include all deliveries (see 5.5 below).

5.5 UK deliveries to Scottish Highlands, Borders, Scottish Isles, Channel Islands, Northern, and Southern Ireland will be subject to a delivery surcharge. Please see the delivery terms page.

5.6 All orders sent via courier must be accepted with a signature upon delivery under all circumstances unless you instruct as to “leave safe”. Goods left without a signature at the customer’s request are at the customer's own risk.

5.7 Tracking information will be provided via email for courier deliveries (where you have supplied an email address) once your order has been processed. Delivery timescales are not guaranteed.

5.8 Goods will only be deemed as lost if:
a) we cannot locate them through tracking.
b) items fail to arrive within 7 working days of initial despatch.

5.9 Any goods deemed as lost will be replaced subject to varying delivery timescales.

5.10 We are not obliged to provide delivery details and as such, all delivery information is supplied at our discretion only.

5.11 All international orders will be despatched using “Royal Mail Air Mail” or a suitable courier. Please allow up to 28 days for the delivery of standard items.

5.12 Bulk orders and other large items may be despatched using a dedicated pallet delivery service.

5.13 Please ensure you are able to accept delivery of pallets prior to making your order as specified above.

5.14 Delivery drivers and staff are not obliged to assist any further than placing deliveries onto your premises due to restrictions with shippers insurance, the courier will only be able to deliver to your front door or the main entrance to the building should you live in a flat, and will not be able to take this any further. If the order is shipped by pallet it will only be offloaded to the vehicle's tailgate.

5.15 Delivery drivers and staff are not trained to handle or set up our products and should not under any circumstances assist with the assembling, programming, or usage of any item provided whatsoever.

5.16 We ensure all items are despatched in the condition specified in the listing and are packed suitably in all cases by our dedicated handling staff.

5.17 Delivery times cannot be guaranteed. We will make every effort to deliver your item within the specified time or, if no date has been agreed, (within a reasonable time from the date of your order). However, we cannot be held responsible for delays due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will deliver your items as soon as is reasonably possible.

5.18 You must inform us within two working days if the goods are damaged in transit and seven working days if lost so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

5.19 You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

5.20 You must ensure you provide us with the correct delivery address, email, and telephone number details prior to despatch. Failure to do so may result in items being returned to us. You will be liable for re-delivery charges should this occur in all circumstances.

5.21 All orders processed are subject to current Consumer Contracts Regulations.

5.22 All applicable UK Mainland orders received before 1:00 pm GMT will be despatched the same day (Mon-Fri excluding Bank Holidays) subject to stock. All orders received after 1.00 pm GMT will be despatched the following working day. We aim to despatch all items within 24 hours during working days but cannot guarantee delivery timescales as they may differ by location.

5.23 Opening hours Mon-Fri 9:30 am to 4:00 pm GMT (excluding Bank Holidays). No items will be shipped outside of these times.

5.24 All palletised deliveries are curb-side deliveries only. It is your responsibility to safely bring the item into your home. Drivers are not obliged or insured to assist with the handling or assembling of palletized units. It is advised that sufficient preparation is made to handle larger bulky items before accepting delivery.

7. Return Policy

7.1 All returns must be returned unopened and packed in their original packaging.  We reserve the right to only accept and process items returned packaged safely and securely. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value.

7.2 We must be informed of your intention to return items under all circumstances. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you so that we may issue a returns number to you. No items will be accepted for return unless a returns number has been issued by Hydra Int. Ltd.  We do not accept returns of opened products.

7.3 Proof of postage/delivery is required in all circumstances in relation to returned item disputes.

7.4 It is your responsibility to ensure that a) you obtain proof of postage for each individually returned item b) you package the items securely c) all return postal fees are paid. Failure to do so may result in our inability to process your return.

7.5 All returns must be sent to Hydra International Ltd, Returns Department, Unit 8, Carters Lane, Kiln Farm, Milton Keynes MK11 3ER, UK.

7.6   Items Damaged in Transit

a) If any items have been damaged in transit we ask that you report it to us immediately upon receipt of the goods.
b) We may ask for photographic evidence so we can take it up with the courier.
c) We will issue a replacement item or refund the full value of your item damaged via your original method of payment.

7.7 Items Faulty on Arrival  

a) If your items turn out to be faulty on arrival then we also ask that you let us know immediately via our contact form, email, or telephone.
b) Items should be returned in their original packaging with any accompanying documentation or accessories.
c) If we can verify the fault at our end then we will issue a replacement or credit the cost of the goods.
d) We can issue a full refund and your payment will be returned via your original payment method.
e) We will analyse return goods and if they prove not faulty then we will return the item to you and you will be liable for the return transit costs.

7.8 Wrong Item Received / Item Not Received

a) If your delivery is incorrect for any reason i.e. an item has been missed from your order or you have received the wrong item then we will automatically replace or refund your item at your request.
b) If you require a refund then you must inform us immediately and not open any packages.
c) We will then ask you to return the goods and upon arrival at our office, we will refund you via your original payment method.
d) If you have not received an item we will send this out the very next day working day with free delivery.

7.9 If You Change Your Mind from Receipt of Goods (Remorse Returns)
Right of Cancellation (Distance and Off-Premises Contracts only)

Instructions for Cancellation

You have the right to cancel the contract of purchase within 14 days for unwanted goods and 30 days for faulty/damaged goods. The cancellation period will expire from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform Customer Services at Hydra International Ltd, 8 Carters Lane, Kiln Farm, Milton Keynes MK11 3ER (Tel: 01908 265889) (email: sales@hydra-int.com) of your decision to cancel this contract. You may use the attached model cancellation form, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

Effects of cancellation:

If you cancel this contract we will reimburse you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than:-

a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied or

b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned goods; or

c) if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

You shall send back the goods to Hydra Int. Ltd, 8 Carters Lane, Kiln Farm, Milton Keynes MK11 3ER. without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days for unwanted goods and 30 days for faulty/damaged goods from the day on which you purchased. 

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

7.10 Items Faulty under Warranty

a) Products that carry a manufacturer's guarantee if faulty must be returned together with a copy of the original invoice.

b) Items subject to irreparable operating faults will (dependent on circumstances) be repaired, replaced or a refund issued at our discretion, subject to valid warranty and postage costs

c) All products still in guarantee will be tested upon return. For presumed faulty goods, if after testing your product is found to be non-faulty, a charge of £17 will be payable to cover collection and redelivery before your goods can be returned.

d) Any warranty offered will cover chemical products and equipment faulty parts and mechanical operations only.

e) Any warranty offered will not cover accidental damage, general wear, and tear, or consequential loss.

f) We reserve the right to credit the cost of the goods, instead of issuing a replacement. 

g) If your product is faulty and still under guarantee, please contact our sales office, we will issue a returns number. Depending on your postcode and the weight of goods we will either arrange collection or ask you to return the item by Royal Mail (ensure you use a service that provides proof of delivery). If returned by post we will refund the cost of postage. A receipt for the cost of the return is necessary for us to issue a refund.

7.11 Other Returns
No other return of goods will be accepted.

7.12 Product specifically Excluded for return:-

   - Non-standard products including special and systems made for a specific projects.

7.13 All returns will be subject to our scrutiny prior to refunds or exchanges being made.

7.14 Refunds will be processed within 14 calendar days from receiving the item or proof the item has been shipped.

7.15 Your rights to return goods are protected under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

8. Trade Descriptions, Liability, and Additional Requirements

8.1 Every care has been taken to describe and display our products accurately. Variations may occur in both design and specification as the manufacturers upgrade, improve or re-issue their products. We accept no responsibility for minor changes in design subject to these conditions.

8.2 All sizes, dimensions, and measurements are approximate and are given as accurately as possible.

8.3 English law applies to all transactions.

8.4 Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms and conditions.

8.5 All completed purchases are deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions in full.

8.6 No employee of Hydra International Limited is authorised to waive, alter or re-determine our terms and conditions in any way.

8.7 In relation to intellectual property you acknowledge and agree that all copyrights, trademarks, and all other intellectual property rights in all materials, products, and content made available to you as part of our website shall remain at all times vested in us, our suppliers and our licensors. You are not permitted to copy, use or share any of this material whatsoever unless expressly authorised or permitted in writing by us.

8.8 Any authorised items or images obtained from our website may be used for non-commercial use only. Any other usage of such is strictly prohibited and you have no permission whatsoever to pass on any of our images, material, content or other such intellectual property to any third party for whatever use under any circumstances. All breaches of said terms will be subject to prosecution where applicable.

8.9 Failure to abide by the terms and conditions outlined here may result in a breach of contract.

8.10 These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

8.11 None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to the minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

If you requested to begin the performance of services during the cancellation period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been performed until you have communicated your cancellation from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.
